TapFatorah
Made in Kuwait

The receipt goes to the phone, not the bin.

Your customer taps their phone on the counter and the receipt is theirs — a real photo of it, saved where they can find it again. No app. No sign-up. No email address.

Works with your existing till and your existing printer.

One tap and the receipt is on their phone
No app it opens in the browser they already have
iPhone & Android both tap, nothing to install on either
Paper on request a button on the unit prints it immediately

Why shops put one on the counter

Paper receipts are thrown away before the customer leaves, and the ones that are kept fade to blank within months — thermal paper is designed to. Everything below follows from fixing that.

Fewer rolls to buy

Most customers take the digital copy, so most receipts are never printed. The saving shows up on the next stationery order.

Findable months later

Each receipt carries the shop's location inside the image, so a phone files it by where it came from. Returns and warranties stop being an argument.

Nothing changes at the till

Your point of sale, your printer and your staff all carry on exactly as they do today. The unit sits beside them and listens.

Seconds, not a queue

The receipt is ready while the customer is still putting their card away. The unit turns green; that is the whole instruction.

No customer data collected

No phone number, no email, no loyalty sign-up. Nothing to ask for at the counter, and nothing of theirs to be responsible for.

Keeps working when the Wi-Fi does not

The unit carries its own mobile connection alongside Wi-Fi, so a shop with unreliable internet is not a shop where this stops working.

How it works

The cashier does nothing differently. All of this happens between pressing print and handing over the change.

01

The till prints as usual

The receipt is captured on its way to the printer. Nothing about how your staff work changes.

02

It is stamped with your branch

The shop's location is written into the image itself. That is what lets a phone file it by where it came from.

03

The unit turns green

Green means ready to tap. It is the only instruction anybody needs, from either side of the counter.

04

The customer taps

Their phone opens the receipt straight away. They save it, and the paper is never printed.

Nobody is forced to go paperless

That matters more than it sounds. A customer who wants paper presses the button on the unit and it prints immediately — no asking the cashier, no reprint, no awkwardness. Paper becomes a choice rather than a default, and that is the whole idea.

What a branch needs

  • A Windows PC at the till — the one running your point of sale is fine
  • One free USB port for the counter unit
  • Wi-Fi, or nothing at all — the unit has its own mobile connection
  • About twenty minutes to set up the first counter
  • No change to your POS software. If it can print, it works.

Tell us what you sell and how your till is set up. We will come back to you honestly about whether it fits, and what it would take to run it on one counter first.

We will only use this to reply to you. No list, no newsletter.

Questions we get asked

Does the customer need to install anything?

No. Tapping opens the receipt in the browser their phone already has. There is nothing to download, nothing to sign up for, and no account.

What if a customer insists on paper?

They press the button on the unit and it prints immediately. You can also set a branch to always print, which makes the tap an extra rather than a replacement.

Do we have to change our POS system?

No. TapFatorah appears to Windows as an ordinary printer, so any system that can print can use it. Your existing printer keeps working at the same time.

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes, and on Android. Both open the receipt by holding the phone near the unit. On iPhone the receipt can be saved to Photos; on Android it goes to the gallery.

What happens if the internet goes down?

The unit has its own mobile connection as well as Wi-Fi and moves between them on its own. If both are unavailable it tells the cashier plainly, and the paper receipt is printed as normal.

What does it cost?

It depends on how many counters you run and whether you want the mobile connection on each unit. Register above and we will give you a straight answer for your situation rather than a price list that does not fit it.
